Challenge: Get a familiar look-and-feel for a login page, capturing the unique essence of the company's culture, and design requirements.

Solution: : I had to grasp the company culture in order to understand the sometimes playful nature of their work and services.

It's a very vibrant, energetic company as they play with full colors, animation, and videos

When designing the login page, I took into consideration that the user should feel comfortable, relaxed, and definitely not intimidated; and experience easy usability.

I felt that the beautiful, lush background should be the focal point; which beautifully captures the company culture.

Challenge: Design a weather application that can be used on wearable, mobile devices, but could also be downloaded as an app.

Solution: I had to familiarize myself with different weather applications, how they operate, how to create a new one for a specific client.

They needed several, key factors: to be visually appealing, easy to understand, and offer provide a pleasant user experience.

I looked at different colors, and shapes, and singled out several icons that would help me create a unique, uncomplicated interface, that’s foolproof, and useful. I took a lot of inspiration from Google material design to deliver the end product.

Challenge: Responsive restaurant site

Solution: I needed to deliver a top-notch user-experience, which seamlessly incorporated efficient functionality such as responsiveness, and content flexibility. I created fluid responsiveness across multiple devices, allowing the website to be accessed from anywhere, and never restricting potential client exposure.

I successfully coded the site so it would completely respond to my expectations.

Challenge:Create a new website capturing the essence of this gritty, edgy brand, while still being user-friendly.

Solution: The Affliction brand was opening a branch in South Africa and needed a website that would speak to the South African audience.

I was tasked to design a website for the store, keeping in mind their current brand identity and flair.

I came up with this semi-geometrical design, keeping the colour palette simple (black and white), ad punctuated by glossy, edgy images. The ‘sign-up’, and ‘new arrivals’ sections were emphasized to maximize conversions.

Challenge: Legacy inspire is a magazine for Legacy customers. I needed to design premium web site for Legacy in order to align with the brand's reputation

Solution: Legacy is known to be stylish and luxurious. I needed to design a site that would take these key elements into consideration. I did a lot of research on what was made before for them, and I came to the conclusion that I wanted to keep it bright and neat with a subtle hint of green.

I divided it into 3 clear sections so the user would know where to immediately look at. It facilitates readability and the experience altogether.

Challenge: Adega needed a website for their fast food branch; and I was in charge of creating a visually appealing site to display their menu of delicious, and popular foods in a simple, yet engaging design.

Solution: When it comes to food, imagery is important. Adega needed a site that would visually grab customers, create cravings, and entice them enough to place an order; and choose their food over a competitors. That was the main consideration when creating the main page layout; and the swirl effect came to mind when I experienced their informal, playful, and inviting culture.

Challenge: : I had to design, and code my first site, and I chose to make a music site as music is my life’s passion.

Solution: I feel particularly attached to this project as it’s my first website. I used my favorite colors - orange and black – as strongly contrasting colours, yet it’s still playful, and edgy. It's far from being neat, but I feel that adds to the grungy/punk effect I was going for. Every piece of code works, and I’m extremely proud of this site. going for. I called it Music and Lyrics based on the movie of the same name which I absolutely loved.

I used my favorite colors Orange and black to bring out enough contrast in the colors. It's far from being neat but I made sure that I could code every single piece of it which I successfully did.

Solution: Bootstrap is my most trusted HTML framework when it comes to responsiveness. With that in mind, I used a template to design the present page across all digital platforms. I made use of the integrated CSS style to stylize, code, and design the page to my liking, and client requirements.

Logo project for South African Company

Challenge: Create a visually striking South African Brand that would encourage people to exercise by walking throughout several sites.

Solution: The corporate identity needed to be compliant for people from all background, race or religion. I used a footprint as a main visual to represent the walking part of the activity. Multiple colors were also used as South Africa is known as the rainbow nation.

The dust logo has a grungy look to it as if it has already been trampled on by walkers.

Challenge: Represent my entire universe in one graphic

Solution: Being able to summarize our entire life into one graphic is not an easy task. I first had to single out my personal interest one by one. I drew everything out on paper first. Once it was done, I made a collage and came up with a final version.

I scanned the image and used Illustrator to color it in.

The final result is what you have in front of you.

I used a prosthetic leg because it represents a futuristic technologic enhancement and It made sense for me at the time to utilize such a tool to symbolize the future of tech.
